Ingredients :

  •   Beef Brisket : 500 g
  • Beef Shoulder- Beef Neck-
  •   Potato : 2 Piece
  •   Carrot : 2 Piece
  •   Onion : 1 Piece
  •   Garlic : 2 clove
  •   Tomato Paste : 2 Tablespoon
  •   Broth : 4 Cup
  •   Olive Oil : 2 Tablespoon
  •   Thyme : 1 Teaspoon
  •   Salt : as needed
  •   black pepper : to taste
  •   bay leaf : 1 leaves
  •   Parsley : to taste

Hearty beef stew with tender meat and flavorful veggies!


Recipe :

Serves 4


Step 1: Sear the Meat

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a pot.
  • Add the chopped beef and sear it for a few minutes until browned.
  • Remove the meat from the pot and set it aside.

Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables

  • Add the chopped onion to the same pot and sauté until soft and golden.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.

Step 3: Add the Tomato Paste

  • Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a minute until its color deepens.

Step 4: Add Other Ingredients

  • Return the seared meat to the pot.
  • Add potatoes, carrots, bay leaf, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour in the beef broth or water.

Step 5: Slow Cooking

  • Cover the pot and let the stew simmer on low heat for 2 hours.
  • Add more water if needed to keep the ingredients well cooked.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  • Remove the bay leaf from the stew.
  • Transfer the stew to a serving dish and sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
  • Serve with bread or rice.
